Steppenwolf Theatre CompanyThe Steppenwolf Theatre Company is located in Chicago. The theater was founded in 1974 by Gary Sinise, Terry Kinney and Jeff Perry. The first performances were in the basement of a church in Highland Park, but after a few moves, the theater found a permanent home in 1991 on Halsted Street.
