The Second City Theatre is an improvisational comedy company that originated in Chicago. The company has stages in Toronto and Los Angeles, 11 touring ensembles, training centers and programs in other cities. The performances are semi-improvised, scripted features with new material put in place after the second act, which is often based on audience suggestions.
