The Chicago Bulls are a franchise of the National Basketball Association that was founded in 1966. The team plays in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. Home games are played at Chicago's United Center.
The team reigned supreme in the 1990s when Phil Jackson coached the team led by NBA legends Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. The Bulls won six championships in eight years, including two three-peats and became the only team in NBA history to win at least 70 games in a single season during the 1995-96 season. Phil Jackson is now the coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, who have also been a successful, championship winning team. Chicago Bulls Hall of Famers include Nate Thurmond, George Gervin, Robert Parish, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and coach Phil Jackson. Both Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen's numbers have been retired.
